Mini Fin Sin Fin is a compact, illuminated sculpture based on the large-scale Fin Sin Fin installation, whose name means “end without an end” in Spanish. This smaller 3D puzzle structure is composed of oval aluminium composite panels connected through a modular plug-in system. By day, the panels absorb sunlight, activating fluorescent and phosphorescent pigments that glow in the dark. At night, additional UV lighting enhances the piece with a soft purple hue, bringing its glowing surface to life. Though smaller in scale, Mini Fin Sin Fin retains the spirit of the original—its rising form sparks curiosity, and its modular design allows for endless reconfiguration, as long as a 90-degree angle is maintained. Adaptable, sustainable, and visually engaging, the sculpture has also been presented in interactive settings where visitors could use laser pens to draw with light directly onto its surface.

Mini Fin Sin Fin
Mini Fin Sin Fin is a modular, glow-in-the-dark light sculpture powered by sunlight and UV light, whose infinite assembly possibilities and phosphorescent panels evoke a sense of wonder and sustainability.
Light
Mini Fin Sin Fin uses phosphorescent and fluorescent screen printing on aluminum panels, glowing in the dark through sunlight-charged UV pigments and illuminated at night with artificial UV light for a vibrant purple hue.
Technique
Mini Fin Sin Fin is a light sculpture composed of 40 precision-milled oval aluminium composite panels, assembled using a modular plug-in system. The panels are screen-printed with fluorescent and phosphorescent pigments that react to UV light, both natural and artificial. The structure is supported by aluminium brackets and illuminated with ultraviolet lighting. Dimensions: 240 × 50 × 100 cm. Edition of 5 + 1 artist edition.
