Framework for Touring Water-Based Light Artworks

Process, Installation, Safety, and Inquiries

Process
Working in water environments, each project is conceived as a fully integrated system, engineered for long-term public presence and spatial impact. Systems use weather-resistant, waterproof components with low maintenance requirements and are designed to integrate responsibly within public and natural contexts, with careful attention to safety and reliable all-weather operation.

Installation
Installations are realized under the artist’s direction, together with his studio, Studio Malte Kebbel, responding to site-specific conditions. Floating structures form an integral part of each system and are specified and provided by Malte Kebbel. Local expertise and resources may be engaged to adapt each work to its context, ensuring both technical precision and artistic coherence.

Safety
All floating structures are designed and maintained to meet professional safety standards. All third-party involvement occurs under the artist’s direction and authorization. Local personnel may assist, but only under the instruction and supervision of Studio Malte Kebbel, ensuring the safety of all personnel, proper installation and maintenance, the integrity of the artworks, and the protection of the surrounding environment.

Inquiries
All touring artworks are conceived, developed, and created by Malte Kebbel and his studio, Studio Malte Kebbel. The artworks are exclusively represented by Malte Kebbel. All bookings and inquiries are handled directly through Studio Malte Kebbel. Third parties are not permitted to represent, promote, or offer bookings of the artworks unless formally authorized in writing by Malte Kebbel.
